Weight loss goal setting steps


This is the beginning of the week and great time I think to invest your passion and strengths into setting of your own weight loss goal. I made this slide show to help you set proper way your goal – to make it realistic and be motivated during your path.

Let see what is inside:

  • 1) Make sure the goal you are working for is something you really want, not just something that sounds good.
  • 2) A goal can not contradict any of your other goals.
  • 3) Develop goals in the 6 areas of life.
  • 4) Write your goal in the positive instead of the negative.
  • 5) Write your goal out in complete detail.
  • 6) By all means, make sure your goal is high enough.
  • 7) This is the most important, write down your goals.

Following step 4 you can check “Why funny motivation can help you lose weight“, because lough and fun can be very powerful positive thinking stimulators.

Sometimes anger can help you to go out of the “whole” in which you can fall, because everyone has difficult moments - “Why an anger pushes me to do weight loss training.

Goal setting is serious thing. You have to be serious as you are serious with your work. Otherwise you won’t be able to see your realistic. I am completely sure that if you follow the steps above, you have 50% better chance to achieve your than someone who just does something, without any plan.

    Good advice, I notice that way too many people always think about in terms of what they can’t do, instead of what they can do. Positive thinking is a must.

    Nice post. I have read many pieces on setting goals and I learned a couple of new points with this one. I, too, like the idea of making sure the goals are set in a postive tone rather than negative. I also like the concept of setting goals in the 6 areas of your life. Reminds you that good physical health is important, but so are home, career and intelligence.

    This is really important, yes. If you look at some of the Eastern philosophies, you will see that all of them are based on positive thinking and meditation. This is not a coincidence.
    For example “Silva method” and “The Law of Attraction ” are two methods that cen be very helpful in order to achieve your weight loss goals.
