Cherry recovery during dietWhen the time to choose recovery food for our comes, most of the people think about foods like meat, fish, eggs, rice and many others. May be the last food you are going to think are cherries.

But really there are many ways to use cherries to help your recovery after or weight training. Not only you can bake a tasty cake with them, but cherries are also used in the medicine for many years.

Why cherries are good for your health?

Much people who complain of articulation inflammations like arthritis and gout use cherries to help them relieve their painful symptoms. Cherries contain components known as “anthocyanins” which are considered to be active components abating phlogistic processes.

In the last several years scientific researches show that consumption of cherries can decrease the level of specific phlogistic markers known as “C-active protein”.

After training recovery with cherries.

Tough training in the gym or at home leads to phlogistic processes in the tissues and cherry consumption can handle these processes. This is very important for right flow of phlogistic process.

Based on existing information scientist from Vermont University decided to test the effect of cherry juice on human’s recovery after negative repeats training. People were separate into two groups with 14 people each. One of the groups takes 400gr cherry juice for 8 days. Other group was controlled and receives placebo (color water).

Groups exercising biceps exercise with one hand using negative repeats. Results showed that first group, which have been receive real cherry juice has less pain and strength loss than second group. Scientists conclusion is that drinking cherry juice effectively decrease the symptoms connected with muscle damage during training.

Recommendations, weight loss use and preparation diet tips.

Recommendation is consumption of cherry fruits or cherry juice as part of carbohydrate after training nutrition. This will fill glycogen depots, but also give good start for recovery process and reduce muscle pain and phlogistic process after training.

You can mix half cup of sweet cherries or morellos with whey protein powder, which will make your after training shake very tasty. You can replace half of your after training carbohydrates with cherry juice.

Finally how cherries can help you lose more weight. Very simple. They will help you keep your strength, which will make your cardio and weight training longer and more productive. Better trainings = less fats. Cherries will also help you to do your spot reduction training – which are more frequent and you need to handle phlogistic processes – cherries are here to help.

Also cherry juice can be eat less method, because it contains water which will fill your stomach and reduce appetite, simple:)

    The study was with Whole Cherry Juice - not from concentrate.

    There’s a difference.

    yes, but no mater if it’s a concentrate or not it still works, because the source are cherries in both cases.

    You are right about difference between concentrate and whole cherry juice
