Do you know about L-Carnitine’s advantages?


Aaa I know about L-carnitine you’ll say - It is for weight loss. Yes you are right with no doubt, but it has many more advantages. Do you know the tricks to take it?

L-carnitine has many advantages not only linked to process, but also linked to body recovery. Yes it is great and one of the best.

I will post in brief what this supplement is and how, how much and when to take it.

With few words:
L-carnitine or in short - carnitine - is amino acid, which your body produces of another amino acid called lysine. To be able to did that your body needs B6, niacin, C vitamins, also ferriferous and amino acid metionin.

1)What is the main physiology effects of L-carnitine?

The main function of this supplements is to play role as a shuttle, transporting fat acids with long chain through cell’s membrane to the mitohondries where your body uses them for energy.

This is necessary, because it is difficult for fat acids to break through this membrane - it is waterproof.
The passing becomes easier when molecule of fat acid binds with L-carnitine.

This is not the only one advantage of this supplement.

When the molecule of the fat acids is burned, it produces waste elements and then come another advantage of L-carnitine – it leads these elements back through cell’s membrane.

You can see that this supplement has double effect – once it leads fat acids in the cells and after that it leads waste elements back from the cells.

2) About L-carnitine doses for weight loss.

For ordinary people dose of about 5-6 grams is enough (Take attention to content of supplement you take). If you are training person then you can take a bit more.

Remember:Doses higher than 10 grams a day are dangerous for your health.

There is one disadvantage:Your body is adapting to L-carnitine that why after couple of weeks it stops to work.

Decision:Take this supplement for 3-4 weeks, after that you are going to pay for nothing. Stop its intake for 2-3 weeks and start the cycle again.

Half-life of L-carnitine is 17 hours – this means that your body voids it very fast. Add the fact that it reaches it’s pick values after 3 to 4 hours you can guess that it is better to take it 3-4 hours before training.

3) Side effects when you are taking L-carnitine.

This supplement is very bearable of your body and this is another advantage. When you are taking L-carnitine for long time there can be side effects as: nausea, vomiting, stomach-aches, diarrhea.

4) Where you can find L-carnitine?

You can find it as independent food supplement or as a part of many fat-burners. Sometimes you can find it in another form – Acetyl L-carnitine. Some scientists say that it is even better than normal carnitine.

After a while this was disapprove.

It is good to know that there is DL Crnitine. When you see it know that – this is mixture of it’s two previous mentioned forms. DL Carnitine is cheaper than normal carnitie, but it is also less effective.

Trend: Last few years scientists are working out new L-carnitine product, chained with other amino acids – they say that this product will be many times more effective than normal carnitine you can find on our market now.

In addition: L-carnitine has other advantages – it prevent milk acid to form into your muscles, block elements that destroy cell’s membrane. Also it helps for more oxygen influx delivered in muscles and provides energy without to destroy muscles.

5) Foods with more carnitine content.

More carnitine you can find in the meat. It is less in milk products and fruits, and more in red meat.
For ordinary man 75% should be delivered from food and another 25% from body synthesis.

Guideline:
- take L-carnitine 3 to 4 hours before training (cardio), because it has short half-life;
- do not take L-carnitine for more than a month;
- when you take it before cardio do not take food with it – just water;
- Combine it with other amino acids for better results;
